Terms of use

These terms govern use of the V-Auto website and the information published on it. By viewing the site or sending details through our contact form, you accept the conditions below.

Use of this website

The website is provided for general information about our vehicle diagnostics, auto electrical work and mobile call-out services in Montague Gardens and across the Western Cape. Content may describe fault-code reading, live data checks, battery and charging tests, parasitic drain diagnosis, wiring repairs, starter and alternator work, CAN bus fault checks and accessory fitting.

You may browse the site for lawful purposes only. You must not use it in a way that disrupts access, interferes with security, or places strain on our systems. Any attempt to copy pages, scrape content, or reuse material without written permission is prohibited.

Enquiries, quotations and workshop instructions

When you send an enquiry through our contact form, you are asking us to review the details you provide and decide whether the work fits our workshop or call-out capacity. We may ask for vehicle make, model, year, registration number, fault symptoms, location and any diagnostic history that helps us understand the fault.

  • Details shared must be accurate and complete.
  • Requests for pricing are treated as estimates unless we confirm otherwise in writing.
  • Workshop bookings, mobile visits and fleet work remain subject to vehicle access and operational checks.
  • Any inspection findings on wiring, charging systems or battery drain faults are based on the condition of the vehicle at the time of assessment.

Technical information and service scope

We take care with technical descriptions, but website copy is not a substitute for a live diagnostic test on your vehicle. Electrical faults can overlap, and a warning light, no-start condition or flat battery may have more than one cause. On-site checks and workshop testing are needed before parts are repaired, replaced or rewired.

Where service details mention alternators, starters, earth faults, fuse box faults, trailer wiring or lighting circuits, those descriptions are general. The actual repair depends on the vehicle, the fault path and the condition of the harness, connectors and control modules involved.

Prices, quotations and availability

Any prices shown on the website are informative only unless we confirm a quotation in writing for your specific job. Labour time, parts condition, vehicle access and diagnostic complexity can all affect the final amount. Fleet work, mobile call-outs and workshop repairs may carry different handling requirements.

  • Estimates can change if new faults are found during testing.
  • Quoted work covers the scope described at the time of issue.
  • Additional repairs are only carried out after approval where practical.
  • Availability for Montague Gardens, Cape Town, Bellville, Milnerton, Somerset West, Paarl and surrounding areas depends on scheduling.
